Gaston Saint-Pierre immigrated to England from Canada in 1963. He worked for a number of years for a London stockbroker before training and starting a career as a Montessori teacher.
He founded the Metamorphic Technique in the late 1970’s. He had long held a passionate interest in the question of transformation, and also had a deep curiosity about why transformation cannot, it appears, be intentionally ‘caused’. When he encountered the Prenatal Therapy work of Robert St. John, this proved to be the final trigger to the emergence of the practice he named the Metamorphic Technique.
He created the Metamorphic Association in 1979 and this became a registered Educational Charitable Trust in 1984.

Who would benefit from the Technique?
Arguably everyone could benefit from experiencing a session of Metamorphic Technique, however often people are drawn to the Technique in times of difficulty or change such as:
It seems people may feel drawn to the Metamorphic Technique to create more of what they need in their lives
What happens during a session?
The practitioner uses a light touch on specific areas of the feet, hands and head, while at the same time providing a space free from direction towards a particular outcome.
The practitioner does not look to address specific symptoms or problems, nor do they impose their will or seek to direct the recipient’s life force in any way and in that respect an environment may emerge where you can be just exactly as you are.
The Metamorphic Technique is suitable for everyone, regardless of age, circumstance or condition of your life. It is gentle and accessible to everyone. There is no need to take any medical history as the practitioner does not address symptoms, specific conditions or problems, thereby acknowledging and trusting that the power and intelligence already inherent in your life is the best guiding factor for you.
A session usually lasts 60-70 minutes. I do however offer short taster sessions, please contact me for further information on this.
How will you feel?
Practitioners cannot predict or guarantee what will happen after a session because this depends on the uniqueness of each person's own life. People may feel energised or relaxed or both, however practitioners have absolutely no expectation of there being any right or wrong way for people to feel after a session.
Practitioners make no claims for the Technique, however it is a fact that many people who have sessions have reported feeling relaxed, calm, more in control and that it gives them space/time out from their regular schedule. Some feel that deep inner changes have occurred without having to analyse the past and many have said they are able to deal with stressful situations more effectively. Many say they feel relaxed and sleep better after a session, however some also report that they dream more vividly.
